The Hold-it! Game Card Organizer holds all the cards necessary for popular board games such as Settlers of Catan®, Cities and Knights and Seafarers, plus the 5 and 6 person expansions. Simply put one type of card into each slot of the organizer. The cards are tipped for easy accessibility and visibility while also hiding the backs of the Development and Progress cards. There is even space for the Largest Army and Longest Road cards!
When we play Cities and Knights, we like to set the cards up to match our City Improvement boards. On the far right go Wood, Paper and Green Progress Cards in a column. Next to them are Ore, Coin and Blue Progress Cards. In the middle are Wool, Cloth and Yellow Progress Cards. Brick and Wheat take the last two front slots with the Defender of Catan victory cards and the Development Cards behind them. We store the Improvement Boards from the base game along with the Longest Road and Largest Army cards in the big slot.
We know some folks who use the Hold-it! Organizer for playing CCG’s like Magic the Gathering. Instead of holding their active cards in their hands, each player has an Organizer and uses it to hold and rearrange their cards. They say that it really helps them with their strategy.
